The Temporary Creative Worker visa is designed for individuals coming to the UK for short-term assignments within the creative industries. This visa enables artists, entertainers, and creative professionals to work on specific projects or performances under a licensed UK sponsor.
It is a temporary visa and does not provide a path to permanent settlement in the UK, but it allows workers to contribute their talents on a short-term basis in roles related to creative sectors.
This visa category permits creative professionals and entertainers to enter the UK for fixed-term work with an approved sponsor.
The visa covers a variety of creative fields such as performing arts, music, film, fashion, and television.
The visa is granted for the duration of the work assignment, up to a maximum of 12 months, with possible extensions under specific conditions.
Applicants must be sponsored by a UK-licensed sponsor authorised to recruit Temporary Creative Workers. The sponsor must issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to confirm the details of the work and the duration of the engagement. Eligible creative roles include, but are not limited to:
Musicians and singers.
Actors and performers.
Dancers and choreographers.
Models and fashion designers.
Film and television production staff.

To qualify for this visa, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Have a valid Certificate of Sponsorship from a UK sponsor for a specific creative role.
The work must be temporary, with the visa duration capped at up to 12 months (extensions may be available under certain conditions).
Demonstrate that they will be paid at least the appropriate rate for their role as stipulated by UK immigration rules.
Show evidence of English language proficiency, if required.
Meet the financial maintenance requirements, proving they have sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay unless the sponsor certifies maintenance.
Intend to leave the UK at the end of their permitted stay.
Applicant needs to either:
Provide proof of holding at least £1,270 in savings for 28 consecutive days before applying.
Have the sponsor certify maintenance and accommodation costs on the Certificate of Sponsorship.
The Temporary Creative Worker visa is typically issued for a period of up to 12 months to cover the length of the creative assignment or project.
Visa holders can bring eligible family members, including spouses or partners and children under 18, as dependants. Dependants may live, work, and study in the UK during the main applicant's stay.
