Pre-Settled Status is for individuals who were residing in the UK by the end of 2020 but had not yet completed 5 years of continuous residence.
The Global Business Mobility (GBM) visa is a category of UK work visas tailored for overseas businesses looking to establish or expand their operations in the UK. It also accommodates international companies transferring employees to the UK for specific assignments. This visa category includes several distinct routes, each designed for different business purposes.
The GBM visa comprises five subcategories, each suited to different types of business arrangements between UK-based and overseas operations. These routes replace older visas, including the Intra-Company Transfer and Sole Representative visas.
Senior or Specialist Worker
Graduate Trainee
UK Expansion Worker
Service Supplier
Secondment Worker
All routes require sponsorship by a UK-licensed sponsor and are primarily designed for temporary work assignments, not permanent employment.

Extensions are possible but must not exceed the route’s maximum time limit.
